Team Sunweb sign Andreas Leknessund to the WorldTour program from 2021 Team Sunweb are pleased to announce the signing of Andreas Leknessund to the WorldTour program for 2021 and 2022. An exceptional talent, Leknessund joins the team from Uno-X Norwegian Development Team. Initially he burst onto the scene as a first year junior where he delivered some strong results in 2016. However, it was his 2017 performances that really stood out when he claimed seven victories to his name; including both the Norwegian and European TT titles, along with the overall win at Tour du Pays de Vaud.
He has also proved to be a versatile rider, coming second at this year's edition of the U23 Gent Wevelgem, then following up with second overall at the really tough Circuit des Ardennes stage race.
