Giro d'Italia wrap up: Fighting for three weeks together and claiming 7th on GC |

As the curtain closes on the first Grand Tour of the season at the Giro d’Italia, we look back on a brilliant three weeks together as Team DSM.
Through choosing our moments wisely to go on the attack in search of day results, setting up our fast men for the sprints and focusing on our GC challenge, we picked up two second places, three third places and six further top ten finishes at La Corsa Rosa; alongside a well-earned and hard-fought seventh on GC.
We hope that you all enjoyed watching us back home, wherever that may be. Your support on social media and the tifosi at the side of the road in Bella Italia really helped us get through the three weeks. We love seeing and hearing all of your messages of encouragement, so thank you!
