How will you remember LSU's regular season? Will it be for the thrilling victory over Alabama and the big wins over Ole Miss and Florida? Or will it be for the mistakes against Florida State, the blowout by Tennessee and the stunning season-ending loss at Texas A&M? LSU's season is all of that rolled into one: exciting and frustrating and a lot of other emotions in between. The LSU injury season is going to be closely watched all week leading up to Saturday's SEC Championship Game against Georgia (3 p.m. CST on CBS). Get the update from Monday right here. Another thing to watch is the looming early recruiting period and the equally looming transfer portal frenzy. LSU lost a second defensive line commitment Monday. Wondering what Georgia coach (and former LSU assistant) Kirby Smart had to say about the job Kelly has done and about the Tigers in general? Well, click here and check out his comments. If you haven't had raked over enough of the coals of LSU's 38-23 loss at Texas A&M, check out Wilson Alexander's film study of the game right here. With apologies to Mr. Alexander's fine work, we wouldn't blame you if you were ready to move on. A good place to do so is with a look ahead to Tuesday's home game for LSU's now No. 11-ranked women's basketball team against SLU. We also have news of a new SEC/ACC challenge for LSU's men's and women's basketball teams during the 2023-24 seasons. That's all for now, folks. We'll have tons more content for you during championship week, so make our LSU newsletter a part of your daily routine. We would love it if you do. Scott Rabalais |
