Hello,

Thursday is when we round-up the best of our lifestyle content.

Revolution is back in Preston. The vodka bar chain has moved into the vacant Fishers bar site on Fishergate after transforming the four-storey building with a £1.5m makeover and we’ve had a look around.

We’ve also got a sneak peek at a new ‘Chic’ boutique opening in Chorley.

Chic Happens, located on Market Street, is a two-floor, homeware and clothing store for both men and women. Owner Claire Robinson gave up her job as a solicitor and law lecturer to start the venture.

Preston’s favourite son Freddie Flintoff was back on our screens this week with a new show filmed in the city. And there’s been rave reviews of ‘Field of Dreams’ as Flintoff looks to change the stereotypes around cricket, the sport which made him a star.

Freddie also features in a fun gallery we’ve put together of the city’s well-known faces before they were famous.

Thanks for reading,

Adam

It’s true that Lancashire is a positive cornucopia of fabulous restaurants but on occasion it’s good to rebel and cross the border.
