Employee wellness programs have positive effects, study says A study in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine showed more than 75% of employers with wellness programs found they had a positive impact, with 83.6% indicating they helped employee health, 83.3% saying they improved performance and productivity, and 73.6% reporting they benefited health costs.
