Simple, healthy and delicious – avocado toast is an easy summer favourite for breakfast, lunch OR dinner.
Bee like Daryla and give this classic an upgrade with a drizzle of BeeMaid Liquid Honey!
You’ll need:
Rye or sour dough toast
Ripe avocado
Squeeze of lime juice
Chili Pepper Spice
Salt
BeeMaid liquid honey
Method:
Toast the bread
Layer avocado slices on top, squeeze lime juice over avocado
Sprinkle with chili pepper flakes and salt, to taste
Drizzle BeeMaid Honey on top

National Honey Bee Day

The third Saturday of August is recognized as National Honey Bee Day. On this day, we celebrate honey bees and acknowledge their contributions to our everyday lives. It is also a day to pay homage to beekeepers, who ensure that there are well-managed, healthy bees to pollinate crops.
The event was started in 2009 by a small group of beekeepers who petitioned for and obtained a proclamation by the USDA honouring honey bees and beekeeping. Originally observed on August 22, 2009 (the fourth Saturday of August) it has since settled permanently on the third Saturday of August. |
