| | The Supreme Court ruled 5-4 for digital privacy in a key cellphone location tracking case and said the government cannot monitor people's movements for weeks or months by tracking the location of their mobile phones. The relatively narrow ruling still leaves plenty of latitude for law enforcement in other cases. Chief Justice John Roberts joined the court's four liberal justices for the decision.
