We took you behind the scenes to the conservation of Judy Baca’s massive mural Uprising of the Mujeres — made up of six 4-foot by 8-foot panels — and the development of virtual interactive education tools for students focused on the historic changemakers in William H. Johnson’s Fighters for Freedom series.
Our team of scholars, conservators, and educators work beyond the galleries to preserve and share the stories and legacies of American art and artists.
