Discussing sensitive issues Themes like diversity, racism, democracy, and polarisation have frequently made the headlines this year. These themes touch the lives of young people and trickle through to the classrooms. To help teachers find ways to discuss these sensitive topics, the Anne Frank House has developed the free online toolbox Stories that Move, in which young people from across Europe talk about their experiences. In doing so, they encourage their peers to think critically about stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination and challenge them to reflect on their opinions and the choices they make. |
