Look back at our scholars' work over the past year and learn how to support Brookings in 2022.
Dear Friend, 2021 started with a deadly attack on the United States Capitol and is ending with the emergence of a new coronavirus variant. In between, we saw moments of hope—the development of effective vaccines against COVID-19, a gradual re-opening of the economy, and a return to a more stable international order. But we also saw persistent and growing challenges in the climate crisis, continued racial injustice, and increasing partisanship and political paralysis. Throughout a tumultuous year, Brookings helped policymakers and the public make sense of what was happening and how to respond. Our 2021 Annual Report provides highlights of our recent work. These efforts are only possible with the support of generous donors. I ask you to join us today with a gift to Brookings. |
In a time defined by misinformation and media echo chambers, Brookings remains resolutely committed to solving problems through independent, non-partisan research. This is the value we bring to the public debate. I hope you’ll make your contribution to Brookings today to support our critical efforts. On behalf of all of us at Brookings, please accept my warmest wishes for a joyous holiday season and a wonderful New Year. All my best, John R. Allen President | |
