Support the WSWS 20th Anniversary Fund! | | Dear WSWS readers, This is Eric London, WSWS reporter and editor of the International Amazon Workers Voice. WSWS reporter Zac Corrigan and I recently traveled on assignment to Texas to report on the brutal working conditions facing Amazon workers. Our coverage from Texas is being followed by tens of thousands of Amazon workers worldwide, but it costs us money to produce. We do not have the resources of our corporate enemies. We need your financial support to keep up the momentum. Donate to the WSWS In Texas, we interviewed a grandmother who became homeless after Amazon refused to help her when she was injured on the job. We met a young Walmart worker who said she was a socialist, and explained how her employer mistreated her after she, too, suffered a work injury. We produced a video interview of another Amazon worker, Angela, who was injured and appealed to other workers to speak out. Angela's video has been viewed 100,000 times. These exposures are crucial, but the cost of printing leaflets, of lodging and of travel means we need your financial help to continue to expose Amazon. Bezos has over $160 billion at his disposal, but Amazon workers have the WSWS and you. Thank you, Eric London Donate to the WSWS |
