The U.S. Food and Drug Administration blindsided and incensed the supplement industry in 2022 when it determined β-nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) could not be marketed in dietary supplement products. Since then, the NMN market has stumbled. Fire halts vitamin production at BASF through 2025 – article
