New Exhibition: ANIMAL

Featuring 15 artists and makers, each exploring animals in their own unique way—from the wild and majestic to the quietly domestic.

The work is up on the walls, but not yet online... so come and see it for yourself in person.

This Thursday! — The Happy Housewife Formula

Stitch, collage, and question domestic ideals in this fun and thoughtful workshop.

You’ll be making the artiest dusters ever, as part of the Domestic Dusters Project© with the University of Brighton Design Archives.

All the way from Argentina, master embroiderer Adriana Torres joins us this July for two beautifully imaginative workshops.

The Forest Alphabet

Saturday 19 July
Create your own forest-inspired alphabet while learning a variety of stitches, including three brand new Argentinian embroidery techniques, taught for the first time in the UK. No experience needed—just a love of letters and thread.

Play & Stitch: Embroidery Workshop

Sunday 20 July
Feeling stuck or unsure what to stitch? Through a playful drawing-and-stitching game, Adriana will help you create your own whimsical sweater-chair—yes, really! Ideal for all levels, from total beginner to seasoned embroiderer.

Movement, Marks and Meditation

Spend the day drawing with ink and seawater, walking the beach, and responding to the energy of the ocean. Includes beachcombing, gentle guided meditations, and expressive mark-making back in the studio.
