Next, we ask can two neighbors put aside their pasts and move into a future, one that is perhaps more accepting of newer ways of doing things? Some relationships aren't meant to last, but could our expectations of them be what's outdated? Just when we think the relationship is the biggest hurdle, sometimes children throw a faster curve ball. Finally, we capture the ups and downs of life and love in a series of songs and letters home. For our 90th year, The Players upholds the tradition of delivering thought provoking and intriguing entertainment to the stage. We hope you join us on the journey!

Based on a true story, SOUVENIR by playwright Stephen Temperley offers a humorous and poignant look into the world of socialite Florence Foster Jenkins. Jenkins made a name for herself in her attempts to become a famous opera star, despite her...particular skillset. The story is told through the eyes of her accompanist Cosme McMoon as he struggles to understand the baffling phenomenon in front of him, and ultimately comes to admire the unflappable diva. The two form a heartwarming and hilarious partnership on the way to their Carnegie Hall debut. SOUVENIR is a symphony of unforeseen delights.
