Student Rush: Gil Shaham, Akira Eguichi, and Inon Barnatan

Gil Shaham returns to the Series for his sixth appearance, his fourth with longtime recital partner pianist Akira Eguchi. A generous artist with a palpable love for the music and a zest for performance, Shaham always delivers a memorable recital.

Pianist Inon Barnatan has wowed Celebrity Series audiences since his first appearance on the Series with longtime musical partner Alisa Weilerstein in 2008. Subsequent Series performances with the Jerusalem String Quartet and in solo recital have provided ample evidence of his emerging mastery. Barnatan’s poetic sensibility, musical intelligence, and consummate artistry have made his performances among the most anticipated in any season.
