Good afternoon,

While Lancashire might have missed the worst of Storm Darcy which is causing havoc across the country, the county is going to get the tail end of the storm this week.

Over the next few days temperatures in some parts of the county are going to drop as low as -4C, and it could feel as cold as -7C.

There's even the chance of snow for some areas.

It's definitely big coat, hat and gloves weather, so make sure you take care and only travel if you absolutely have to.

You can read this week's forecast for Preston here.

Stay safe
