Thousands enjoyed a free Thanksgiving meal thanks to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, which continued its annual holiday tradition at the River Center Thursday. Here's our dispatch from the event.

Baton Rouge was shaken by three deadly shootings in as many days up through Thanksgiving. Elyse Carmosino interviewed some of the people who live around where the killings took place, and they said they're disheartened by the gun violence, which is driving a record homicide rate in the city this year. Baby dies in crash

A 10-month-old boy died along with two relatives in a crash Tuesday evening in St. James Parish. State troopers identified the victims the following day, and said none of them were wearing seatbelts at the time. Here's our report about the tragic wreck.
