Good morning Voornaam

Scotland is covered with weather warnings today, from Yellow, to Amber, with a rare Red Warning covering the Central Belt.

Councils across the country have warned of school and facility closures, and ScotRail has announced transport cancellations.

We're going to be covering this throughout the day with our live blog, so do follow along for all Storm Eowyn news, and do please stay safe.

Stay indoors when you can, secure what needs to be secured and make sure your mobile phone is charged in case you need to make an emergency call.

As always, have breakfast this morning, and grab a hot coffee to keep warm.

Stick with us today and follow along with our live blog here.

Trivia time! Yesterday we asked: What year was the Wallace Monument built?

It was built between 1861 and 1869.

No question today as it's Friday - but we'll be back bright and early on Monday morning.

Whatever your plans for today, and the weekend, have a good one. And stay safe.
