| Hey, When I was a little boy, just six years old in 1st grade, I somehow ended up with a book of Peanuts comic strips. One day we had a reading period right before morning recess. I became so engrossed in the book that three minutes after the bell went - and all the other kids went outside - I was still sitting there reading about Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the gang. “Craig, don’t you want to go for recess?” asked Mrs. Blair, my Mary Poppins-esque teacher. I shook my head - not to say no, but to come out of the trance that Charles Schultz and his storytelling had put me in. This was the start of a lifetime love affair with books. Today you’ll still find me missing subway stops in Toronto because I’m glued to the pages of my latest book.
