The first two months of 2020 have already flashed past and here we are, almost in March. For university sports, this means the excitement picks up as the World University Championship season kicks off in a few days. Dotted throughout an action-packed year are 29 FISU World University Championship events, starting with the WUC Cross Country on 7 March, in Marrakech, Morocco. Here's what to expect... 

Stage set at outdoor ice rink for fantastic battle at WUC Speed Skating 

 

The FISU World University Speed Skating Championship in Amsterdam, Netherlands, will be hosted at the stunning outdoor Jaap Eden ice rink. It is an open ice rink and the weather can be extremely unpredictable; sunny and pleasant, very cold, windy or even a lot of rain. This means that weather conditions may play an important role in the results and that makes for an exciting event! Read more...
