The HEPS number has blown away anything we've seen in recent years. The same definitely can't be said for the mining industry right now. Impala Platinum has released a trading statement that I think is nowhere near as severe as the reality will be when a revised trading statement comes out. Th is comes off the back of other recent mining announcements, with Pan African Resources also giving us some additional data points with a production update. It's not all bad in mining, of course. It all depends on what commodity is coming out of the ground. At Gemfields, the company is doubling down on rubies in Mozambique.
