Londonist partner content: bringing you the best events, offers and more around the city.

Here’s a chance — several chances, actually — to explore your relationship with the natural world in a totally new way.

Vital Signs: Another world is possible is all about responding to the climate crisis with hope, rather than nihilism. This free event series and exhibition at Science Gallery London shines a spotlight on the people shaping liveable futures and reveals how we can all contribute to a healthier planet.

There’s a ton of fun stuff to get stuck into this spring, from film screenings to spellcasting to forest-inspired soundscapes (and that’s all just at one event!) Explore this London Bridge gallery — located mere steps from the Shard — after-hours with Friday Lates, or pop into the exhibition during the day to see how the space unites new ideas across art, science and health.

Celebrate spring in style

From 21 March (the day after the Spring equinox), we’ll officially have more daylight time than darkness, and that calls for a celebration. Science Gallery London has just the ticket — its Pulse of the Planet Friday Late. Head here for a Club Sol DJ set, a spellcasting creative writing workshop inspired by botany, a forestscapes listening lab, and much more besides.

Imagine a better tomorrow…

Can’t make the March Friday Late? There’s another one on 25 April. Beautiful Futures is a chance to think about how compassionate collective action can help forge a better future. Highlights include a Low Carbon Chinatown tasting session, environment-centric Taiao Tarot readings, and Re: Pig zine-making.

…And help make it a reality

Looking for something to do in between the two Friday Lates? Head to Science Gallery London after-hours on Thursday 27 March for an empowering panel discussion exploring how we can reclaim our agency to shape hopeful futures for the environment. Vital Minds brings together climate psychologist Steffi Bednarek, activist/peace pilgrim/former monk Satish Kumar, King’s College London research fellow Dr Kris De Meyer and climate activist Daze Aghaji for a conversation chaired by Clover Hogan.

Explore thought-provoking art

Each event is also an opportunity to discover Science Gallery London’s Vital Signs: Another world is possible exhibition. Featuring a range of creative, sensory and original works from artists and researchers, the exhibition confronts environmental injustices, inspires hope by spotlighting change-makers, and invites you to consider the planet’s health as an extension of your own.

Outside of special events, the exhibition is open 11am-6pm, Wednesday-Sunday until 17 May. Click below to find out more.
