What will make a human being leave the way they are going, and move in a totally different direction? I think that is one of our great problems, don’t you? Why? If one is concerned, as one must be, with humanity, with all the things that are going on, what would be the right action to move humanity out of one direction to another? Is this question valid? This Saturday, March 16th, we invite you to inquire about the future of humanity at the Center and online. Join us for an evening talk, Spiritual Search and the Future of Humanity, given by Ravi Ravindra on March 16, 2023, at Pine Cottage located at the Krishnamurti Center.

The future of humanity depends on the quality of being of the human beings. According to all the spiritual teachings, there are two currents of energy in each human being, one coming from the spiritual side and the other from the material side. The former is referred to as the "soul" or "spirit" and the latter as the "body" including the usual mind. The purpose of the body is to assist the evolution of the soul, ultimately back to the Source, labeled God or Brahman or the Absolute. However, in general, the material side completely takes over and is wholly driven by fear or self-centered desires. The call to all the searchers is to enhance the quality of our being—leading to more compassion and love, more sense of unity and service, more and more freedom from me-my-mine.
