Lancashire Day gives us all an opportunity to remind ourselves how lucky we are to live in this fantastic county and to celebrate it in style.
Whether that means a meal of the eponymous hotpot - always a treat - or just a trip out somewhere which is special to you and yours, that’s up to you.
And as tomorrow is also Small Business Saturday, please take the time to support some of our amazing independent shops and producers this weekend.
We will all have been inundated this week with offers for Black Friday, where massive firms aim to encourage us to spend more of our hard earned cash with them either in their shops or online.
If you, like me, are heartily sick of it all, don’t be tempted to spend too much on things you don’t need...spend a little supporting a local business you love.
