Good morning and thanks for joining us. Here are some of today's top headlines.

World War II Museum expansion: Friday marked the 81st anniversary of the D-Day invasion. It also marked the 25th anniversary of New Orleans’ National World War II Museum, which announced a $300 million fundraising campaign for another expansion, Stephanie Riegel reports.

Restaurant wave: A lakeside community on the northshore has seen a wave of new restaurants open in recent months. Some of those involved talked about the dining scene in Old Mandeville.

Here comes the dust: A plume of Saharan dust will envelope the region over the coming days. Sounds dramatic, right? Well, what you’ll likely notice most is hazy skies and some nice sunsets and sunrises, Marco Cartolano reports.

Helldivers: Ever thought maybe spearfishing beneath the giant rigs in the gulf would do it for you? Me neither. But for a group of daredevils it’s a real thing, Aiden McCahill reports from the deep.
