Spartanburg task force unveils benchmark goals

Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce’s business recovery Bringing Back the Burg task force released benchmark goals and business reopening guidelines Thursday. It also unveiled a joint campaign with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System to encourage infection prevention in the workplace.

Spartanburg County Foundation offers grants to nonprofits

Spartanburg's downtown bustles with activity as a red sedan waits at crosswalk beside Main Street's red-brick belltower.The Spartanburg County Foundation has extended $225,000 in grant money to regional nonprofits impacted by COVID-19 as the demand for food and financial services increases. Nonprofits that apply for the grant online may be awarded between $10,000 to $50,000 if eligible.
