A free festival of ideasThe British Academy Summer Showcase is back! From 20-21 June, this free festival invites you to dive into the humanities and social science research shaping how we understand the world. Highlights include interactive exhibits on Chinese food and the history of fancy dress, short talks covering de-extinction and the study of laughter, and workshops featuring zine-making and poetry-writing. A new dinner-and-a-show night comes to Covent GardenCovent Garden restaurant Louie’s got form when it comes to live music: their rooftop Alligator Bar’s Tuesday jazz nights are regularly packed out.
