'Arriving back to the UK after nearly a decade in Paris and Berlin, Loughborough returns to childhood surroundings as a source of inspiration. For this new series of works he ties an idea of an unstable nature within the human condition to the oxidation of iron merchant shipwrecks in Portsmouth harbour.'
