Snowline Counts 7.3 Million Gold Ounces

Over the past two years, Snowline Gold has develooped one of the most remarkable new gold discoveries at its Valley project in the Yukon. Today it published its maiden gold resource from its Valley project. With still considerable upside to go, it announced 4.05 million ounces in the Indicated category grading1.66 g/t gold and another 3.26 million ounces in the inferred category grding 1.25 g/t gold.

The valley deposit sits on < 0.01% of the comapny’s land holdings in the Yukon and many more exciting new targets have been identified some of which will see early drilling this summer. In addition the confines of the existing Snowline deposit have yet to be entirely outlined.

I have no idea how the market will respond to this news today. Whatever the case, Snowline is an exciting story that I think is still in its early days and its boud to be a comapny that attracts the attention of major gold producers. Keep in mind that B2 Gold is already watching closely as it is a major shareholder.
