Take two shallow-rimmed plates, or two identical flat container lids. Place the tomatoes on one of them, cover with the other so the tomatoes are firmly sandwiched, then use a very sharp knife to cut across the tomatoes perfectly in half. If you don't have a super sharp knife, use a serrated knife. Time saver!
Crispy-Edged Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
By attosa
My friends and I were having a discussion about cookies. Everyone agreed oatmeal was better than plain, chocolate chips were better than raisins, but half liked chewy while the other half liked crispy. As this debate was going on, I came up with a cookie combination to make everyone happy. I actually prefer chewy, but when I tried my cookies, I was immediately fond of the crispy edges. What a surprise. Everyone loved these!
Upcycled Coupon to Birthday Card
By 15mhhm15
Victoria's Secret mails out coupons printed on thick quality cardboard paper. I usually keep their coupons because they make great templates to trace or to use for other craft projects, like this birthday card!

Here is my friend Henry the gecko! He is 1 of many around our yard. He always hangs around our covered porch. He is so smart, he hangs around my pots and hanging baskets for comfort and sometimes food. He loves our house thermometer. He loves to eat all the insects that try to take over our garden!
Using the Last of the Clorox 2
By lalala...
As my husband was doing laundry he went to use the Clorox 2. Nothing came out, but it clearly had more in the bottle. He discovered that if you remove the spout, there is almost a capful of liquid trapped inside the bottle. Now none of it will be wasted. :)
Pick Up Leftover Outside Pet Food
By likekinds
I have a neighbor who was country born and country bred. His cat is never allowed in the house. He feeds the cat outside, near his back door. I don't think he realizes that the food the cat leaves behind attracts flies, mice, rats, and other pests, including possums.
