The only rolls of wrapping paper I have in our household are Christmas themed and it's from years and years ago! I no longer purchase wrapping paper because it's a waste of money. There are other methods for wrapping gifts and gift giving.

Paint a Flower Pot Saucer that Doesn't Match Pot

Flower pots and saucers are sold separately. I knew I had a saucer at home so I didn't buy a new one. When I went home, the saucer didn't match the pot. You can revamp the saucer with a little bit of paint and it pairs nicely with the accents of the pot. I was able to save the $1-2 on a saucer, and use an existing one.

Need a last minute gift bag? You can make your own with a plain kraft paper grocery bag! I had an irregular shaped gift (helmet) that really couldn't be wrapped so this worked perfectly and only cost me .10 cents (for the kraft bag) and supplies I already had at home.

I have a rather large collection of disposable wooden chopsticks from decades of restaurants and takeouts. After I use them, I wash them and keep them either in my utensil drawer for reuse or in a canister for future crafts. This trivet is one of my favourite chopstick crafts.
