| NATIONAL: Comedian Patton Oswalt will host the 2020 Webby Awards, which will focus on how people have used the Internet to address COVID-19. The virtual ceremony takes place May 19. As per tradition, winners will give five-word acceptance speeches. Tribeca Enterprises, IMAX, and AT&T have announced Tribeca Drive-In, a nationwide summer drive-in series showcasing curated films plus music and sporting events. The series kicks off June 27; full programming and ticket information will be announced in the coming weeks. ATLANTA: Immersive entertainment venue Illuminarium is set to break ground in Poncey-Highland. The $2 million, 25,000-square-foot space will offer a 360-by-360 sensory experience, using advanced laser projection mapping and sound systems to transport guests to places such as a safari or an expedition to Mars. LOS ANGELES: Street Food Cinema is working on a new drive-in outdoor movie series; the Los Angeles-based company is also renting outdoor movie gear for drive-in screenings, graduations, weddings, and other events. ORLANDO: Pop-culture convention MegaCon has canceled its 2020 edition, which was expected to draw more than 100,000 people. Instead, a smaller edition will take place October 30-November 1 at the Orange County Convention Center; it will be limited to 25,000 tickets. The larger convention will return March 18-21, 2021.
