Should COVID vaccines be required for kids?

Gov. John Bel Edwards says he intends to add the COVID vaccine to the list of vaccines Louisiana kids have to get in order to go to school. But Republicans in the Legislature don't like that idea and have promised to try and thwart Edwards.

COVID takes its toll on nurses

Even before COVID hit, Louisiana had a shortage of nurses. But wave after wave of the virus put health care workers under more stress than ever, and some have decided they need to choose a different profession.

We talked with some of those nurses to hear their stories, and looked at what it might mean for our state's health care system.
