What are the rules of writing? It depends on who you ask. Luckily, Stack Exchange is set up for exactly that - and a recently-updated post has plenty of good answers. Our favorite? Know the end before you begin. Tired of tech? We know the feeling. The solution, according to TechCrunch, is to ditch the feed. Our suggestion: just check your email instead ;) Patreon, the subscription membership platform, will soon have a WordPress plugin. Patreon users will be able to restrict their posts to only their paying Patreon patrons. Read more about the new app on Patreon's website. Pretty nifty! Medium will now allow everyone to publish posts behind their $5 paywall. Writers will be compensated based on the level of engagement with their articles.
