We are currently living through extraordinary times and even as restrictions ease, life is radically different for all of us.

ABC Radio Sydney is teaming up with the State Library’s The Diary Files to create a time capsule to capture This Moment in Time.

We’re after your thoughts, pictures and videos about how you’re thinking, feeling, living and working through this experience. What are you feeling, what does home or work look like and what have you learned during this time?

We’ll be sharing submissions on air and online, so tune in as we explore This Moment in Time.

Maureen Thornett is the owner of The Royal Oak in Balmain. She spoke to Wendy and Robbie on Breakfast about what it will be like to be in her pub when it re-opens for business.

Hand sanitiser, table service, condiment cleaning and throw away menus are just some of the new regimes to keep staff and the public safe.

COVID-19 Older Persons Support Line

Do you know an older Australian who may not have proper access to the internet or the confidence to be able to find COVID-19 information online?

A free COVID-19 Support Line is now available for senior Australians, their families and carers, to provide the critical information they need to stay healthy and safe during the pandemic.

The support line can be accessed 8.30am - 6pm Monday to Friday on 1800 171 866 and can be used for personal support, questions and up-to-date guidelines.

ABC Radio has also launched a new national segment, Getting On with Angela Catterns, a COVID-19 special feature for seniors with no digital connection to get up to date information and learn more about the issues impacting older Australians.

Getting On is broadcast Sundays at 5.30pm AEST across all Local Radio channels.
