In 2018, we protected hundreds of miles of coastline and sensitized thousands to the importance of ocean protection. None of this would have been possible without you. Thank you for giving your time, energy, and resources to help protect our playground. In 2019, let’s continue to keep the fight alive!

Outside #6: Revive the ocean passion on forgotten spots

Basically, it is a team of young surfers from Brittany, going on surf trips independently in remoted spots. Then, they have realized that in exploring isolated corners, they were facing social, environmental and ecological issues. An awareness that has given them the desire to act.

COTE BASQUE CHAPTER

During the 4th edition of RAME POUR TA PLANETE, 140 surfers were present to protect their playground: the ocean. This event invites environmentally conscious surfers to gather every first Saturday of the month for a collective paddle out in the ocean. The chapter encourages everyone to initiate their own oar all over Europe, until the G7, taking place at the end of August in Biarritz.

AWARENESS

ROME CHAPTER

Rome chapter has conducted a Do It Yourself event with several partner associations called "Make Something Week", offering an alternative to Black Friday for more responsible consumption. This awareness event made it possible to show participants that it is possible to reuse, recreate, or even transform an object in order to reduce its consumption.
