CleanTag at Canal Saint-Martin

On the last November, 24th, the Surfrider Foundation Europe Parisian chapter organized a cigarette butts cleaning and a CleanTag operation at Canal Saint-Martin. 14 798 cigarettes butts have been collected in one hour by the 70 participants of the operation. To raise the awareness about this specific pollution, the Paris’ mayor announced wanting to install long-term nameplates near from the Parisians sewers. Meanwhile, you can go looking for the Surfrider CleanTags around Saint-Martin canal!

Surfrider Foundation Europe at FridaysForFuture Hamburg

Every Friday the FridaysForFuture events are occurring in Hamburg, as in many cities in the world. Students, high-school students, or more generally young peoples are asked to exercise their right to be heard in favor of the action against the global warning. On the last November 29th, it’s the volunteers of the chapter in Hamburg, Germany who decided to join the protestations and to represent Surfrider Foundation Europe in this worldwide movement!
