Seven fun things that you can do with flavors |
|
- Strawberry Pineapple Whipped Cream Frosting: I was making strawberry cupcakes and I had a ripe pineapple. I sliced it and diced it and wrapped the dices in paper towels to wring most of the juice out and folded the pieces into the strawberry frosting. That will make you a hero!
- Caramel Nut Whipped Cream: Never make vanilla again! Sub brown sugar for the white and caramel flavor for the vanilla. Fold in chopped salted snack nuts. That's magnificent!
- Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree Popcorn:Apricot Nectar is my favorite flavor. Use it for candy popcorn. It's fabulous!
- A Cupcake Cake:Whipped Cream Frosting is pretty magnificent. Make a 9x13-inch cake, then trim the edges, and frost it, and cut it three ways by four. Pipe a pile of frosting on each piece.
- Orange Dreamcycles: Remember those Orange Dreamcycles we ate as kids--orange popcycle on the outside and vanilla ice cream on the inside? Well, thisorange cream flavornails it. The fun thing is that it has orange color in the flavor. It's like a meter. When you use enough to get a dreamcycle color, you have dreamcycle flavor.
- Root Beer and other Soda Pop: We make it in big 15 gallon coolers and carbonate with dry ice from the grocery store. It's as fun making it as drinking it.
- Experiment: Pick your favorite flavor then spike your smoothies with it. Make a dessert sauce, frosting, or whipped cream with it. Slip it in a hot beverage or spike a drink with just a tad. Just have some fun.
