Serial escapee on the run — again

with Jennifer Wadsworth | Assistant metro editor

Good afternoon. Hopefully you're staying warm as this cold front settles in.

Let's get you caught up on our top stories today.

Juvenile jailbreak

A teen suspect in a rash of car thefts has escaped lockup for the third time. While they won't disclose his name because he's a minor, officials from the Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff's Office say they expect he'll end up in their jurisdiction, so they're asking folks to keep an eye out.

Wrong-way car chase

A driver led state troopers on a dangerous car chase overnight, heading east in westbound lanes of I-10 before smashing into a patrol unit in Ascension Parish. Here's what police told us about the pursuit.

Strip club feud

A long-simmering feud between two strip clubs in a rural pocket of the capital region has reached a boiling point. James Finn has the story.

A Tiger in sequins and feathers

Our new features editor caught up with LSU's women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey to talk about her glitzy courtside fashion, from those sequined jackets to her penchant for heels and sartorial inspiration. Here's a fun little Q&A distilled from their conversation.

Thanks for reading, and have a great day.
