IETM Caravan Kosovo: Additional places available Due to high demand, we have increased the capacity for our upcoming IETM Caravan in Kosovo to accommodate a maximum of 60 participants. Don’t wait too long - registrations are open until 2 October or until maximum capacity has been reached. A preliminary programmeis now online, including a few exciting highlights from the upcoming artistic programme. A more refined version of the programme will follow in mid-September. IETM Job opportunity: Production Manager of Events IETM is looking for a full-time Production Manager for its events. The Production Manager leads the creation of all IETM events in close collaboration with co-production partners, other team members of the IETM Secretariat and more broadly, the IETM membership. We are looking for a hands-on, experienced producer with strong organisational and analytical skills.

Reports from the IETM Aarhus Plenary Meeting 2023At the IETM Aarhus Plenary Meeting 2023, a number of sessions and workshops took place which shaped our understanding of Indigenous knowledge, art and activism, performing identity and climate justice in the performing arts. IETM has since commissioned four reports, each focusing on one selected session from the Plenary.
Perform Europe: IETM welcomes a brilliant new team Back in May, we proudly announced the Perform Europe 2023-2026 edition and opened a call for applications to form the new Perform Europe team. We are proud to introduce you to the new Perform Europe team, formed by three brilliant professionals who will carry out the different tasks and phases of the project: Karen Verlinden (Project Coordinator), Mariam Lezhava (Communications Officer) and Cristina Emmel (Project Assistant).

SAVING A TONNE by Pippa Bailey In this series of articles, IETM Board member Pippa Bailey shares how she travelled from Australia and across Europe to attend the IETM Aarhus Plenary Meeting, saving 1.042 tonnes of carbon and completing 20% of the journey by land. While such a cut will barely have an impact on the EU’s budget savings, it will significantly weaken the Creative Europe programme and cause damage to the Culture and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSIs). Alongside the other signatories, IETM hopes that the EU will reconsider the current budget cut and will strengthen the Creative Europe programme for the year 2024 and in the future.
