AI, algorithms and data - Rights & Ethics Save the date: 5. December 2022AI, algorithms and data - Rights & Ethics A seminar developed by UBVA (the Committee for the Protection of Scientific and Scholarly Work) at the Confederation of Professional Associations in Denmark together with the Danish UNESCO National Commission. How do we control, or can we control AI, data and algorithms for our ability and values in shaping our future ourselves within a human and democratic society. As algorithms are decided and coded by humans, we must ensure that algorithms feeding emerging technologies are based on a fundamental human rights approach including high ethical standards. It should also be a solution based on the principle that data ownership belongs to the citizens, not the state or the tech industry. The seminar will take place as a hybrid event at DM, “Akademikertårnet” Frederiksberg, Copenhagen on the 5th of December 2022 from 10 to 15. Invitation will be sent out primo November.
