SEC sues former FirstEnergy CEO Chuck Jones over HB6 bribery scandal
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against former FirstEnergy CEO Chuck Jones over accusations that he committed securities fraud during the House Bill 6 bribery scandal. The company separately agreed to pay a $100 million penalty to the SEC.
