It is that sweet time of year...! 🎄☃️
We'd like to wish all of you out there a very Merry Christmas, and hope that you get the chance to take some time off to enjoy in the company of your family and friends over the holidays. 🎅

Imagine a live venue that is equally capable of hosting classical chamber music, which requires vivid and natural spaciousness, as well as rock, pop and jazz concerts that is better suited for more dry acoustics.
Tøjhuset in Fredericia, Denmark, found a technical solution to this issue, deploying a host of microphones, digital reverb processing and carefully positioned speakers throughout the room. And at the heart of the system, routing all of the audio signals, an AX32 holds the line!
The system is designed and installed by Alfa Audio.

So, why do we share a photo fo the legendary drummer Steve Gadd?
Well, The Village Recording has found a very cool way to utilise its amazing studio space when not booked for recording sessions. They host live concerts - and record them. So, in fact, it's more of a live in session recordings, but with a real audience in the studio.
To get the audio safely into the digital domain, two AX32 units handles the conversion, and as you can hear in this video, featuring Steve Gadd along with Michael Blicher (sax) and Dan Hemmer (organ), audio coming out of 'The Village' sounds fantastic!
