The latest issue of Search, our biannual supporter magazine, is now available.

We hope you will enjoy reading about the progress we are making against cancer, despite the setbacks due to coronavirus. Throughout the pandemic we have remained determined that cancer patients must not get left behind - and we are hugely grateful for your support over the past 18 months which has helped keep our research going. 

This is a time of new beginnings for the ICR. This summer we have welcomed our new Chair of Trustees, Professor Julia Buckingham, and our new Chief Executive, Professor Kristian Helin. You can meet them both in the new edition of Search. We also introduce an exciting new field called digital pathology, which aims to transform how cancer is diagnosed and treated.

Thank you again for being part of our journey to defeat cancer.

In this edition of Search we are celebrating the return of in-person events following the coronavirus pandemic. This Saturday we are holding the first ever UK Terry Fox Run in Battersea Park, London. There is still time to sign up for both the in-person and virtual events. Alternatively, if you will be in the area on Saturday, then do come along, meet some of #teamICR and give our runners a big cheer!
