NEW ORLEANS PORT: The Port of New Orleans plan to build a $1.5 billion container-shipping terminal in Violet in St. Bernard Parish has raised the ire of nearby residents. Now, the two sides could be heading to court. Residents and business owners sued the port Tuesday over the expansion plan. HELICOPTER CRASH: A helicopter crashed on Interstate-10 over the Bonnet Carre Spillway Tuesday. The crash snarled traffic and at the same time, thousands are without power in nearby neighborhoods, though it's not yet clear if it is related to the crash.
