Recipes (February 10, 2019)
Here are a few tips for taking photos with recipe submissions:
Photos should high resolution and in focus. Be sure to use proper lighting and try not to shade the subject so details can be clearly seen.
Landscape (horizontal) photos display best on ThriftyFun. Do not add text, as it may be automatically cut off by our different formats and look odd.
Avoid a lot of clutter or unrelated items. It is best to keep your working area relatively clear. It is often helpful to have another person take photos of complicated steps. A tripod can also help.

Mini Taco Frittatas

By attosa

stacked finished Mini Taco FrittatasI came up with these frittatas because I love egg breakfasts and adore tacos, but don't have much time to hang around to make both. These are so delicious, guilt-free, and gluten-free. I love to make a batch and keep them in the fridge. They're perfect for days you are on the run.

Almond Sauce Salmon with Citrus Veggies

By attosa

Almond Sauce Salmon with Citrus Veggies on plateThe main star of my salmon dish is the almond sauce, which is really an homage to Thai and Indonesian inspired peanut sauces. I made this for my dear friend who is allergic to peanuts and it absolutely won him over. The almond sauce is so creamy and complex that the citrus veggies really cut through. This is a lovely pairing!

Pork Riblets

By 15mhhm15

Pork Riblets on plateThis is a delicious and inexpensive meal to prepare. Serve with side of rice and vegetables. Pork riblets were only $1.09 lb. This would be a good alternative for finger food if you're hosting a party, inexpensive to serve and easy to make, in addition to drumsticks, wings, etc.

A simple and tasty treat! You can use any type of chocolate you want to but dark chocolate makes the orange or tangerine segments taste absolutely divine :-)
