Good afternoon,

Today our thoughts are with the family of a schoolboy who was injured yesterday afternoon after being hit by a van in Fulwood.

He was rushed to Alder Hey Children's Hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

We all hope that the quick response from Lancashire's fantastic emergency services will mean he is able to make a full recovery.

In other news, three men have been arrested over the crash death of 22-year-old motorcyclist Lewis Taylor, who was killed in Burnley last Christmas.

The men, from Burnley, are aged 25, 27, and 28, and have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, disqualified driving and perverting the course of justice.

Finally, James Holt spoke to a body positive plus-size couple who have checked into the 'Big Body Hotel', a new Discovery Plus programme.

The exotic getaway exclusively caters towards plus-sized tourists, allowing them to enjoy their holidays in peace and without fear of being judged.

You can read about their experience here.

Take care
