Why do we plant smaller trees? We often get asked why we plant smaller, twiggy looking trees instead of more mature trees. A smaller tree costs approximately $70 compared to $300, requires less water to establish and develops a better root system and canopy cover quicker, ultimately becoming a healthier tree.
