Episcopal Church wins federal trademark suit

The Episcopal Church and The Episcopal Church of South Carolina have won a federal false advertising and trademark infringement lawsuit at the center of a 2012 dispute with a breakaway group. The ruling means the breakaway group must stop using trademarks associated with The Episcopal Church. The breakaway group has adopted the name The Anglican Diocese of South Carolina in response to the decision.

Wine shop Vino Garage to reopen in Cottontown

The Cottontown pioneer is reopening at 2501 Main St., not far from the location that closed last July. The shop will serve wine and beer, owner Doug Aylard said in an email.
