Leatherman Terminal receives final cargo equipment

Six more rubber-tire gantries arrived at the S.C. Ports Authority on Saturday morning, bringing the final count to 25 for the new port. They will be commissioned by ZPMC before they’re put in service for the terminal’s expected March opening.

S.C. to become hub for cancer-preventative testing

Starting this March, a South Carolina lab will become ground zero for a preventative test that can detect cancer-causing mutations, risks or tumors in advance through a quick blood sample taken at home or a physician’s office.

Report: S.C. construction employment rebounded in 2020

A year-end report from LCK Construction Services and Colliers South Carolina found that while construction starts trailed 2019 totals, the state’s workforce recouped losses to exceed 2019 numbers by more than 5,000 workers.
